About the Role

We are currently looking for skilled Car Mechanics to join established automotive workshops in Bergen and Haugesund, Norway.

These are permanent employment opportunities with reputable employers seeking motivated professionals who can deliver high-quality workmanship and contribute to a productive workshop environment.

Candidates with a Norwegian trade certificate (Fagbrev) are highly preferred. English-speaking candidates are welcome to apply, while Norwegian language skills will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical and technical faults on vehicles
  • Perform maintenance and servicing according to manufacturer standards
  • Carry out repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
  • Use diagnostic equipment and workshop software
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
  • Follow workshop procedures and Norwegian HMS regulations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

  • Professional experience as a Car Mechanic
  • Automotive trade certificate or equivalent qualification preferred
  • Ability to perform diagnostics and repairs independently
  • Experience working with modern diagnostic equipment
  • English communication skills required
  • Norwegian language skills are an advantage
  • EU/EEA citizenship
  • Valid Category B driving licence
  • Strong focus on quality, safety, and teamwork

Documentation Requirements

Candidates with a recognized automotive trade certificate (Fagbrev or equivalent) will be prioritized.

Candidates without a formal trade certificate must be able to document relevant professional experience through employment records and references.
