Location: Trondheim, Norway

Job Title: Carpenter (Tømrer)


🛠 Responsibilities of a Construction Carpenter in Norway:

  • Building wooden formwork and support structures for concrete elements

  • Installing structural timber components, including walls, ceilings, floors, roofs, and frames

  • Fitting and adjusting prefabricated elements such as doors, windows, stairs, beams, and panels

  • Reading and interpreting construction drawings and technical plans

  • Installing insulation materials for soundproofing, thermal efficiency, and moisture control

  • Carrying out interior finishing tasks, including paneling, trims, skirting boards, and cladding

  • Operating manual and power tools safely, in accordance with health and safety regulations

  • Collaborating with other trades (e.g. concrete workers, electricians, plumbers) on-site to ensure coordinated work

  • Following strict safety procedures in line with Norwegian labor regulations

  • Ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with project specifications and building codes


📋 Requirements

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in the field

  • Valid driving license is a plus (Category B)

  • English language proficiency: minimum level A2


💼 Offer

  • Permanent employment contract

  • Working schedule: 7.5 hours/day

  • Hourly starting wage: 270 NOK/hour

  • International travel costs: not covered

  • Accommodation: not provided, but assistance is available

  • Workwear: provided free of charge

  • Tools: provided by the employer

  • Contract start date: June 2025

  • On-site presence: as soon as possible

  • Training courses: HMS
